How do I connect my Gmail to my Outlook 2003?

I am trying to connect my gmail account with MS outlook 2003 but getting the following errors?

    Setting outlook account U have not set up the account to the outlook service To do so go to start-settings-control panel and user accounts(not in classic view) Add up a account as per the requesting as follow the on screen steps The service will request u for the the service passwrd and user id Get it from the service provider and form one Http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/ Alternate option Select tools | account settings... From the menu in outlook. Go to the e-mail tab. Click new.... Make sure microsoft exchange, pop3, imap, or http is selected. Click next >. Type your name (what you want to appear in the from: line of messages you send) your name:. Enter your full yahoo! Mail address (e.g. "[email protected]") under e-mail address:. Make sure manually configure server settings or additional server types is checked. Click next >. Make sure internet e-mail is selected. Click next >. Make sure pop3 is selected under account type:. Type "127.0.0.1" under both incoming mail server: and outgoing mail server (smtp):. Type your yahoo! Id under user name:. The yahoo! Id is also the first part of your yahoo! Mail address, i.e. Everything before "@yahoo.com". If your yahoo! Mail address is "[email protected]", the id is "example". Enter your yahoo! Mail password under password:. Click more settings .... Go to the outgoing server tab. Make sure my outgoing server (smtp) requires authentication is checked. Leave use same settings as my incoming mail server selected. Click ok. Now click next >. My Dear At first u delete all setting of outlook express then "Sign in your Gmail Account ands Click on top Right Side of Screen Called "Settings" After That Click On "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" then you see "POP Download" and Select "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)" after then click on "3. Configure your email client (e.g. Outlook, Eudora, Netscape Mail) Configuration instructions" for Outlook Express Setting and follow instructions .

Hi, This is because gmail doesn't classify mails in traditional ways. Gmail's folder system is quite different from that of others. So, if you want to use any email client for gmail, use Mozilla Thunderbird. But Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook are NOT configured for use with gmail. These two products are incompatible with gmail.
