Why do I have so much trouble accessing my Yahoo mail?

Any ideas why I,m having so much trouble accessing yahoo presently cannot even open my mail?

    The developers keep loading up the standard version of Yahoo Mail with javascript crap which slows things to a standstill if you don't have a particularly fast connection or if you can't afford the hardware needed to accommodate it. The only choice they leave you is switching to Yahoo Mail basic which causes you to lose out. Of course you can also start looking for another email service if they keep putting this technological pressure on you.

same here it's very annoying then it will ask if i wanted to go to basic yahoo but that basic format is just so ugly! pls fix it yahoo or at least let us know what's going on?????

My wife's Yahoo e-mail account cannot be accessed - starting 2 days ago. I tried everything even calling and leaving callback from Yahoo Support - never got a call back!!! Now my primary Yahoo e-mail account started having problem and is essentially useless now. Tried my other Yahoo e-mail accounts. They initially worked fine; but now they are essential useless. Tried using 3 different browsers hoping that would solve the problem! NADA. Thanks Yahoo! Anyone got any answers? I would like to move my e-mail and contacts to another email but can find no way to do that. Guess I / we may be having a disaster of major proportions!

Yahoo Mail has had a meltdown worldwide. They are over-capacity due to not provisioning servers to handle additional traffic. Shutdown/Outage in January continued for 3 days. Yahoo Mail is a Free service with limited support.

Try m.yahoo.com for the mobile version. Looks a bit basic on your desktop but at least you can get your emails.
