Why does my yahoo email keep closing down?

I keep getting letters threatening to close my Y acct. wanting my info, but the origin of em is not Yahoo?

    Ignore the emails and delete them. Yahoo, or any website, will only contact you from their own emails, even if it's like [email protected] or whatever.It's a scam to get your account.

This is a known phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful.

This is a scam to steal your email account and might allow getting into other accounts like you bank or ebay accounts. BTW this type of spam will not end up in your inbox if you turn on the Yahoo spamguard. Click Options, Mail Options then Spam. Check that top box.
