Is it safe to go to Mexico City for tourism?

    Mexico city is safer than most major metropolitan areas. Mexico City has a population of 21 million, but the crime rate is much lower than that of Washington D.C. I've lived there for 5 years and absolutely had no problem. As your staying a day with other tourists, you have nothing to worry about. Your 2nd question is impossible to answer. It is a huge City (over 20 million) and there are too many sites to see. It has great Museums and art Galleries, the two Aztec pyramids are a must to see.....there is so much culture and history it is impossible to answer. What I would suggest, is chose something that you are particularly interested in. In a day you can't even scratch the tip of the iceberg :-) Enjoy!!!! >3
