Where is inbox on Facebook?

How can I stop the new Facebook messages from putting all of my Facebook chat conversations into my inbox?

  • I'm pretty sure you can't. And I feel like Facebook has overlooked this. It's severe for them because I am considering stopping to use Facebook for messages now, or at least Facebook chat, as I become more and more cluttered with messages by the minute. I know a ton of people having this problem. And we can't go back to the old messages. AND it also put into my inbox every conversation that I've ever had. It seems like it can be an email killer, but not with these massive blunders. Gmail has them locked up on this. HELP!!!

I agree, chat logging is a big problem and I was very surprised when I saw all the chat history saved from day 1 of my account. Why doesn't FB have a setting like "do not save chat history" the same way Google does it? I didn't what that private chat text saved on anyone's servers, so I used fbsweeper to delete them all - it's at http://fbsweeper.com
