Who is the better long term fantasy football QB (Keeper League) Luck or Cam?

Luck - Newton is setting things up to enter Vince Young Land in the next several years

Here's how I see it: Luck is playing great football and has 5 rushing tds in his last 4 games! While Newton is struggling and not getting the rushing tds he usually gets. Yet Luck only has 10 more fantasy points. I think Luck is the safer play because he looks like he could be the next great pocket passer and is mobile (159 rushing yards and 5 tds) but Newton who is struggling has amazing upside. I'd keep Newton for upside but Luck is the safer choice Luck: 57.5 completion% 292 yards per game 10 tds 9 ints (159 rush yards 5 rush tds) His passing numbers will improve greatly in the next couple years but the rushing tds will most likely drop Newton : 57.2 completion% 238 yards per game 8 tds 10 ints (354 rush yards 4 rush tds) His passing number will also improve as he gains experience but not as much as lucks. His rushing stats should remain though unlike Luck. So upside goes to Newton but he has an injury risk too. Safe play goes to Luck. So either way you win but I say keep Cam

If Newton keeps trying to rush for yards, he will end up like Vick; injured all the time. Luck is pure magic and is definitely a better long term fantasy football QB.

LUCK. Cam Newton is a novelty that will wear off quick with losing seasons in play. Luck is pure and could very well be the next peyton manning.
