Where can i find a cheap hotel in London?

  • I'm not really familliar with the area and so far i've checked hotels in central London, which are way too expensive! What places would you reccomend staying at in London? ...show more

    In London there is a great Hostel to stay at. It is called Palmer's Backpackers Lodge in London. It has nice rooms, (their clean, but you do have to share rooms) the toilets are clean, and it is a very nice place to stay. It was actually an antique house, built in 1881, designed by Morris and Stallwood of Reading for Samuel Palmer of Huntley & Palmers Biscuits. It was adapted for use as a Hostel in 2004. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and a free continental breakfast. It is also relatively inexpensive to stay at, around 25 pounds a night to rent a room that can bunk 8 people. It really depends on what you consider "way to expensive". Could you be a bit more specific? If you don't care much for spending money on big hotels, get a room in one of the pubs.
