Is it easy to get a driving licence in a eu european country?

    Here in Italy, you would be required to take a twelve week driving theory course in addition to on the road. You can't even sign up for the course without an Italian carta d'identita which you can't get without a Permesso di Soggiorno. I doubt you could get a license from any country unless you're a resident.

It takes ages. In Germany and the Netherlands, you may not use a provisional licence, you can only drive with a registered instructor in the car, and you may not drive on the roads until you have passed your driving test. You may not even apply for a test unless you're taking lessons from an officially registered and certified instructor. You're better off doing it in England, or even Ireland, where you can still get a provisional licence. Bring lots of money though - insurance costs are extortionate, especially if you're male and under 26 years of age.

Getting a driving licence in Uk is incredibly hard but worth it since you are a more competent and confident driver....why less accidents happen on our roads.
