Where should I go and what should I see in Europe?

Im visiting Europe for 5 days...I can't decide where to go, what city do HAVE to see?

  • Answer:

You can only go to one place in five days, so I would suggest a city where you wouldn't have too much of a language barrier, so any of the capitals would do you. The capitals of the various COUNTRIES, because Europe itself is not a country. It is in fact a continent.

Europe is not one country, it's made up of fifty individual countries, and surely you have some idea which of these you would like to visit. Five days is only enough time to see one capital city, nothing else. So I suggest you find which capital is the most convenient to get to from your home country and spend your time there.

At best you can do two cities that are close to each other. It takes a long time to travel anywhere in Europe! It's big! You are better off choosing a single country and go to the different cities. Eg. Italy. You can visit Milan/Rome and maybe Florence. But that is very hectic.

London, Paris, Athens, Madrid!

Go to Budapest. Your eyes and wallet will thank you.
