The official line is that your age won't count against you because discrimination on the grounds of age is illegal. The reality is that you won't even get an interview.

Well, I don't know which company Brian worked for but with ours you must retire at 65, all positions. Having said that, no, you're not too old, however also with our company the "oldest" receptionist I've seen was in his late 30's, they hire younger I guess because of the pay, also if you're an American would you be OK with the pay? because most US citizens won't work on the front desk for 2 grand a month.Also you will definitely share a cabin. There are other jobs you could apply for depending on your experience. Let me know and I tell you.
