How much does a massage on a Norwegian Cruise cost?

How much does it cost to get a massage on a cruise ship, (royal caribbean, majesty of the sea?

  • Answer:

My husband and I did a couples massage on the Empress of the Seas. It was an hour long and it was around $300. Prices are usually higher than land spa's. They usually offer discounts on port days as well.

There are a few different types of massage - Swedish, deep tissue, hot rocks, facial, etc. There are usually different lengths available also - full body, half body, 1 hour, 30 minutes, etc. I recently got a 1 hour Swedish massage on a Princess ship and it cost $119 plus tip. This should give you an idea of what you are looking for. I was on RC's Majesty of the Seas a few years ago and had a good time. Enjoy your trip.

Anywhere from $99 - $300 depending on what you want. They always have "specials" the days you are in port, usually half price. Those are the days I normally go. Days at sea are more expensive - and crowded.

My husband and I each had 3 treatments and spent around $2000. Massages are about $100 plus tip for an hour. One of the best things is the seaweed wrap one- talk about spoiled! It's a couple hundred$ but really nice! Avoid the acupuncture. Total waste of time. I've never been a facial fan but had an awesome one on the ship. This was Norwegian CL.
