How hard is it to get a job on a cruise ship with no job experience?

Very difficult if not impossible. Cruise ships hire ONLY those that have experience. They must be able to work alone without a supervisor checking on them. They always ask for experienced workers even for the most basic jobs. Pick any cruise company web site and look for their jobs link. It should tell you more of what they expect when they hire people.

Cruise ships tend to hire people with experiance. For manual labor jobs, housekeeping, resturant works, etc. they usually don't hire Americans. These are international ships operating in international waters they hire people from poor nations that will work very hard for low pay and few benifits.
