Why is Carnival Cruise Lines the worst cruise line in the industry?

    Everyone has their personal favourite, at least among those who have cruised frequently. It all depends on what is more important to you as each line focuses on different areas. One thing to remember is that although the names may be different many cruise lines are owned by the same company and Carnival (or rather it's parent company) is perhaps the biggest in that way. These include Carnival, Princess, Holland America, Seabourn, Cunard, and who can forget......Costa. Like any place people travel to you will find a variety of views and opinions often about the same cruise (or the same week of a resort stay, etc).

I did a Carnival cruise last spring. The food wasn't bad. My biggest complaint was kid wrangling. A lot of Carnival passengers think the staff and other passengers will babysit for them. I went to the top deck for a smoke at 3 AM and there were 8 year olds running around. Of the 6 cruises I've done, it was second worst after a Norwegian cruise out of Baltimore.

Who said it was the worst. I have been on 14 Carnival cruises and enjoyed all of them.

Many, many people will disagree with you! There is good reason why Carnival ships have so many repeat passengers.

I don't think carnival is that bad, we used carnival due to great deals, we never had a problem with carnival the food was ok, especially at dinner the food was great, our rooms were extra clean and spacious, the people was super nice and we only had a line for food on the first day of cruise. But to each is on we are using carnival this spring.

To be honest, my favorite cruise was on a Carnival, the Carnival Miracle. Though to be fair my least favorite cruise was on the Crown Princess, and Carnival does own Princess Cruise Lines.
