What is a good packing list for a 13 year old on a cruise?

    Cruises aren't just for adults and it is great that you are taking a friend with you. You'll have more fun that way. What to pack depends on where you will be going. You say 90 degree weather too. Then here is what you want to include: Shorts or fun skirts 1) T's or Shells 2) Short sleeve shirts 3) SPF Sun Block 85 4) Hat and Sunglasses 5) 2 Swimsuits (one for morning and one for afternoon or evening) 6) Light sweater for cooler or air-conditioned areas (and they do exist on the ship) 7) Comfy pjs and undies 8) Gentle shampoo and conditioner to pamper your hair from sun and salt 9) Long pants or jeans 10) Dressy outfit for having dinner with your parents 11) Deodorant 12) Sandals (wear with shorts or dress); Flipflops 13) Sneakers 14) If you prescription meds for any reason, bring a copy of the prescription with you in case you lose your meds 15) Your iPod or GameBoy 16) Stamps for mailing postcards 17) Toothbrush, hair brush, toothpaste 18) Motion sickness patch or pills if you get dizzy easily 19) A camera with a memory card or lots of film 20) A journal so you can take notes and record your great trip Whatever you do, pack a small bag that you can take on board with you while you wait for your luggage to be delivered. Make sure there is at least one change of clothes, your toothbrush and paste, brush, makeup, and jammies. Sometimes they don't deliver your bags until very late and you will want a change of clothes for dinner or the Bon Voyage send-off. Best of all, have a great time.
