Simple, contact your credit card company and get a "dispute form". Sent it back to them with as much information that might help them (prints of the emails, etc.) and they will do what they can.

it is good to buy the travel insurance, if just for that possibility for cancellling the trip. I would contact the cruiseline to find out if the money has been sent. Also i would contact the credit card company for some assistance if you didnt' get the money. also the BBB is a good idea. the BBB probably has some good help for you. take care and good luck.

A lot depends on how you paid your deposit. If you paid by check or cash to the group leader of the wedding, then you need to talk to them. They can cancel your cruise at the cruiseline and actually keep your money. If the deposit was placed on a credit card, then as soon as it was cancelled at the cruiseline, then it should have be refunded immediatly. Contact the travel agent in charge, or the group leader and let them know that you need the refund. Yes, you should be fully refunded if you cancelled outside the penalties of the cruiseline. Or talk to your group leader, they can actually set it up that cash money is not refunded. Good Luck.

If you went through a travel agent, and used a credit card for the deposit, they should be able to get a credit to your account quickly. If you went through the cruise line, then it may take a little longer, because as you said you get tired of messing with it. If you paid cash or check then the delay may be longer, as they have to check the account and cut the check to return the money. If you went through a travel agent, they should be able to refund your money quickly. Again, this all assumes you were not past the deadline as you noted.

Unless you bought cancellation insurance when you bought your tickets, I do not think you will get your money back. Pays to spend a few more dollars... just in case your situation turns around and plans have to be changed.
