How do I get a job with a cruise line?

Is it a possibility to get a job on a cruise line with no experience for just the summer?

    Usually the only 3 month contracts are for seasonal youth staff (looking after the kids onboard). It would not be financially worth it to the cruiseline to hire for 3 months as usually the minimum contract lenth is 6 months

I'm not sure if you can work for three months and that's it. You'd have to check with the cruise lines, I guess. The people that work on the ship are generally on there for at least a year straight.

My sister's boyfriend does that, except the jobs are in too high demand to only work for the summers. He signs on for a year at a time like all the other workers. After he had made the money he wishes he will then go back to school.

Im not sure but I don't think you can. People on cruise ships travel all over the world and travel from ship to ship. I am pretty sure it is a full time job.
