How fast is a cruise ship traveling if?

What is the purpose of cruise ship traveling?

  • Why will one travel on a cruise ship that just looks like a city floating on the ocean?

  • Answer:

Let me give you my reason. First you unpack once while the ship takes you to many places. If you did this without a cruise you would be packing and unpacking many times and then dealing with the hassle of airports constantly. Next, it is wonderful to not have to worry about where to go to eat. Everything is at your fingertips. Then you don't have to carry a ton of money with you as everything is charged to your account. If you do this kind of thing on your own, you constantly have to get out money or your credit card, figure on tips, and then have to worry about all the "hands" that have your credit card number too. Finally, once on the ship, I find it the most relaxing vacation ever. You escape completely!

For many people, it's just the experience of being out on the open ocean, being waited on constantly, having unlimited amounts of food, and having all kinds of things to do (shipboard activities) all for the price of admission. It's also an opportunity to get a taste of various ports of call without having to arrange travel and accommodations there. It's a very luxurious and comfortable way to travel. You certainly don't want for anything (except booze, which you have to either pay for or smuggle on board). And, it's great for kids, young adults, and seniors alike. I've been on a few cruises, mostly out of San Diego to the Mexican Riviera. But, also out of Galveston to the Caribbean. I prefer cruising out of San Diego, because I live about a 10 minute cab ride from the cruise terminal. And, I get kind of tired of the same Mexican ports. But, my wife and I always get the expensive suites off the back of the ship and have a great time.

I don't know, I wouldn't but to travel on a smaller cruise ship that looked like a ship and acted like a ship is fantastic. You not only get what you want, nice cabin, nice food and entertainment but you get all into the shippy thing. Stick to smaller ships and you will be hooked! You not only get a great vacation but you get the excitement of the sea!

Heres a few reasons.. 1-The price...Most Everything is included 2-Multiple ports with one unpack 3-Cruises are romantic 4-Can be very relaxing 5-Wining and dining 6-Gambling 7-Great entertainment Everyone should at least try a cruise. You will realize how enjoyable it is for you and your family. Hope I helped!

To have a great vacation, visiting several different places and unpacking only once, to have lots of activities and shows and food to choose from without having to make an "expedition" out of it, and to just, in general, have lots of fun.

Well, for me 2 reasons. 1, not having to unpack 5 times but going 5 different places. 2, you can meet people easier. in a hotel you don't meet as many people as you can on a cruise.
