Can you bring your own water to the plane?

You can carry an empty water water bottle through security and once in the airport, fill it with water and bring it onto the plane but you cannot bring a water bottle with water in it through security. You can also purchase beverages within the airport and bring it on the plane with you. Don't worry about asking flight attendants for water - that's part of their duties.

Hi u can buy something to drink once u have cleared security. The liquid rules apply for water it will have to be under 3.4oz to get through security which isn't much if ur thirsty :D u can take an empty water bottle through and fill up once u have cleared security if ur connecting remember to finish what ever drinks u have before u land since u might have to go through security again. yes of course you can bring water on the plane with you but unless you follow the 3-1-1 rule you will not be able to bring it through security. you'll have to purchase the bottle of water after security or bring an empty bottle through security and fill it up at a water fountain after security.

Bring and empty water bottle or container. After you get through security you can fill it up at the water fountian and take it on the plane with you. You could also buy a bottle of water at one of the little stores or fast food places that are usually found after you get through the security line. It's not rude to ask for water or drinks while on the plane, but they cant bring you anything during take off or landing or when you waiting for everybody to get off the plane. So I always like to have my own small bottle with me

it depends on the airlines you are going with. My sister used to get her water bottle in her hand bag and it never has been a problem. They don't open the bag and look inside. Also, if you get the water bottle from the airport, it is okay. That's what I think and that what I did. I even have seen people have water, coke and food with them in airplane.

You can't bring water in quanitities larger then 3.4 oz through security. Also, I was under the impression that you can't bring an "empty vessel used for liquids", but I just read on the TSA site that you can. Additionally, you can purchase water once you get through security. I've never tried this, but it's just an idea that I had to bring one of those collapsable medicine cups (I don't even know if they still make them.). I don't know what you mean by "ask for water". The airport waiting area isn't like a restaurant. There is no one to ask and no one will just bring it to you. Before you get on the plane there will be shops to get water and drinking fountains at the bathrooms. When you are on the plane the the sewardesses will usually offer drinks like soda, coffee, and water. Don't be afraid to ask, though, where ever you are. Water is a human necessity.

yeah, once you're past security at your departing airport you can take anything you purchase from the shops there onto the plane :)

It has to be small, usually customs won't let you through if it's any bigger than a small bottle.
