what is type of climate Australian football played in and does the climate make a difference in the way they play?
-
Answer:
In winter it is usually wet, especially in Melbourne so it usually makes the games scrappy. Games played in North Queensland are usually played in heat and so makes visiting teams struggle a bit if they are not used to it. Canberra gets bitterly cold so, again, can affect visiting teams. If you are referring to soccer then this is the only type of football played in summer and it gets very hot here so endurance and fitness play a big part and the games are played at a slower pace. It is probably one of the only countries in the world that plays soccer in summer.
