Should Ben Cousins be allowed to play for any Football Club?

Unfortunately I don't think Ben will get a chance to play footy for a while, I am pretty sure that he will be in Jail after his court appearance in November.

l totally agree with justme.These people are sporting heroes to young kids. An example must be set.His footy career has been given the boot and rightly so.No sport should tolerate drugs and l believe that a second chance should never come into the equasion.

he should not be able to play darts let alone professional football. Look at all the kids that see him. What an idiot.

He's a grown man and has had all the warning and was offered help but he just blew it off. Sack and barr him for life. They need to send a clear message that drugs in sport wont be tollerated.

NO! A clear message needs to be sent to other AFL clubs and other players and to future players that drugs will not be tolerated. Besides, this is just another of Ben's long line of escapades - don't forget his "underworld" friends, his running away from a booze bus, him passing out in front of Crown Casino, him getting into a fight with Kerr in a nightclub in 2002 before Kerr pushed him down the stairs and he broke his arm. Ben's had many, many chances and blown them all. The best thing for him is to have this career taken off him - hopefully that will shock him into getting help and getting off the gear.
