If Ben Cousins does return to the AFL, which club will he play for?

im from koroit in victoria, and in this league theres a team called port fairy where old unwanted afl players go. Ronnie Burns, Brad Sholl, and Ashley Sampi have all played there in the last 3 years, and i think cousins will go there next year.

The youth policy is what most clubs have adopted, if he did he play AFL again he would probably get a 1 year deal. Personally I wouldn't want him at Hawthorn as we have a good young list, and would rather see the hawks draft young players rather than older players with a drug related past. If he get backs to decent form, then I'm sure a lot of clubs would look to signing him to 1 year deal. The only club that wouls draft him would be a clubs that lacks that experience in the midfield.

Collingwood or Essendon would want him. Being an Essendon supporter i'm not sure if i would want him playing for us, because he only has another two or three years left, and his drug history. Put that aside and he's still a great footballer.

I think he'll go to the Pies. Sorry. But he's got close ties with them so if does play at AFL level again I can see him going over to Collingwood. I wouldn't mind him at the doggies though but the doggies have an elite midfield already. GO THE DOGGIES!

i would think he would go to collingwood or freo he doesnt fit any other teams

he is playing for a victorian side if he plays and umm since carlton dont want him it wil be a top club in need of a midfirlder - by top club i mean rich!! umm i reakon essendon desperately need a midfielder and umm they wanted kerr but he's not moving so maybe essendon if not richmond and collingwood are a chance

I have a feeling that both carlton and the crows said that they would consider helping him out if he ever got back on his feet. that was early last year so Im not sure if it still holds true but yea, we'll hafta wait and see eh?

I don't think any club will pick him up if he wants to make a comeback. If he does I hope Collingwood take him on - because he will surely stuff up again & make the club & its administrators look bigger fools than they already are.
