Answer:
In New Zealand you go to school for 13 years. Then go to university to complete a bachelors degree. This usually takes 3-4 years. A bachelor of commerce or arts (do you mean economics?) will take you 3 years if you pass all the courses you take and plan your qualification correctly. You have to complete a bachelors degree before you can do a masters degree. You have to be accepted into the masters degree, so your grades need to be good. They usually look at the grades of your undergraduate degree when deciding if you are accepted into the program. So you're planning to do your undergraduate degree in Italy and then do your masters in New Zealand? My recommendation would be to email the university in New Zealand that you are planning to go to. Explain which university you're planning to do your undergraduate degree at (not all universities are equal, I've heard of people being rejected with a bachelors degree because it wasn't from a credible institution). Tell them what you hope to study and ask them what sort of grades you should be aiming for. Keep a copy of these emails because universities are known to change their minds on things, when you've got it in writing you can argue it. Good luck. ....

I think you need to decide what University you want to go to, each university may have different systems. There aren't many in NZ but they have special admission requirements for students coming from overseas (not just temporary international exchange students, but people like you wanting to complete degrees here): Auckland: http://www.auckland.ac.nz/uoa/home/for/international-students/is-entry-requirements Wellington: http://www.victoria.ac.nz/international/ Waikato: http://www.waikato.ac.nz/study/enrol/int-process.shtml Christchurch: http://www.canterbury.ac.nz/admissions/international/academic_req.shtml Lincoln: http://www.lincoln.ac.nz/Studying-at-Lincoln/Entrance-and-enrolment/Bachelor-Degree/ Dunedin: http://www.otago.ac.nz/international/undergraduate/index.html Sorry if that wasn't helpful, but if you are still confused then just contact the universities, they are the best people to ask.
