NRL players /supporters do you like AFL?

I don't follow it, I live in NZ and only watch Union and League. The only time I pick up AFL is during the finals series like now.

Yeah - I do!! :-P Nah they're different games, comparison is daft really. It's kind of like comparing sprinting with marathon running or chess with mah jong. League is much more basic tactically than Aussie Rules or Union, but you have to do the basics right under a lot of stress in League - it's like golf in that way. I love Aussie Rules but also loved playing Rugby Union. Very happy with a beer in front of the League too. Coopers for AFL, XXXX for League and Boags Premium for Union!

It's not bad. Some good rule changes over the years. Definitely cleaned it up since I last played, though I was more of a rugby player.

I really never watched AFL but since Swans are in the GF on Saturday and not my beloved Wabbitohs(Thanks heaps to Burgess and Crocker high tackles)I be watching them taking on the Hawks.The NRL GF between the Storm and Dogs?Well who freaking cares.Cheers

I like Richmond but my frustration of watching them miss out on finals footy for so many years has kinda turned me off it. Having said that, I have played both games and they are equally as tough to play but in different ways. I much prefer League though!

tbh, I don't watch a lot of AFL, but I must say that when on the odd occasion i do, I actually really enjoy it. It's a very entertaining game. I definitely love league much more than AFL but that partly could be because I watch nearly every game and have watched and supported the game for longer. But yeah, I definitely do enjoy watching AFL.

No. I have never watched a full game, I just can't sit through it, it just looks so messy, i'm always yelling out 'knock on, knock on'.
