Whats your favorite thing to do with horses?

    One of my favorite things to do is to go swimming. It's so much fun. Ha, this may sound dangerous, but it's not. Once me and my horse are in the water I stand on her back or butt and jump off. It's like she's my own personal diving board. Ha. I ride western so of corse I greatly love trail rides. So much fun to have nature and horses put together. And Barrels...you get a rush! Have a sorrel solid paint/ TB mare. 16. 1

Just spending time with them! Whether it's a trail ride, training/lesson,or just a grooming session...whatever it is,I love it all!! They're such great creatures and we're so blessed to spend any time at all with them. :)

I love working on dressage challenges. It keeps my older horses fit and sharp, and it gives me goals that are fun to pursue that are very intensely between myself and each of my horses. Now that I have my own place, I don't have the distractions that boarding my horses always involved, and I find it so enjoyable to be able to work on these things without the socializing and arena etiquette that I used to have to deal with. It has been a new way of experiencing what I love to do.

Dressage fo' sho'! I actually combine dressage with natural horsemanship (bet you don't hear that every day :p lol) as I am interested in both and like them a lot. I much prefer training a horse how to do dressage than buying one who already knows the ropes - it's much more fun and rewarding! I'm 14 and have a 6 year old 14.2 gelding.

I ride english so I love to jump. My friend and I compete in a jumping pairs class at one of the shows that we go to, that's really fun hacking and jumping next to each other. I also like to go on trail rides with my friends, we get a group of people and go off the barn property. We try to find new places to ride each time we go to keep it interesting.

Endurance is great, just like hacking with your horse but more exciting, and the people arent as snobby as some of the people involved in other horse sports. Plus, less in the way of fancy dress codes...I dont like tweed!
