Which of the 8 UN Millennium Development Goals is the most urgent to be addressed?

i would say that eradicate poverty and hunger, u cannot teach something to anyone who has nothing in stomach as he will not concentrate on it and u cannot achieve what u need. secondly ; working with partnership with others as teamdevelopment. work together with other countries to develop the needs for the peoples, means develop in all sectors , from food,infrastructure, community development, and help them to live in a better and happy world. gender equality and empower women: give the rights as equal as to everyone, and also empower the women because she is the one who will lead nations generation, she can teach the kids with all the basic things, like work as a team for the country, enhace the better way of life. and she will emphasise on health issues also, as she needs to be healthy to lead, as all the millenium goals are compulsory to achieve the world goals as a happy place to live together , in my point of view these 3 points would be good to answer this question , but u we know the saying as much honey we put as much sweet we get, so we can describe it more in detail. thats should be ok for that question hope so. danish

of cause it is Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger because: if people have nothing to drink or eat, how could you tell them about equality or anything else. even sicknesses are not understandable if you have no clean water

Promote gender equality and empower women. Everything -- studies, anecdotal evidence, experience, everything -- shows that if women are given education and access to jobs, then hunger is reduced, child mortality is reduced, the spread of disease is reduced, the environment improves, and the pregnancy rate drops. In other words -- you address all the other MDGs through addressing MDG #3.
