    The UN is nothing more than a forum for anti-American rhetoric and a money sucking institution that gets skimmed off the top by UN officials. Plus i don't like the fact the the US gov't has to provide buildings, security, money, and also give amnesty to members. To me the UN is a joke on the American people and at the very least should rotate around the world instead of primarily an American responsibility.

Well it certainly isn't bad, so it must be a little bit good. It's not great, but it's better than nothing isn't it?

I wouldn't say it's bad, but a maybe somewhat of a failure. BUT, I also believe it WOULD be downright wrong not to try to attempt such an organization. So.. it's kind of like how I feel about the US government: We are not perfect, but our system is the best so far. So basically, it's not a complete failure, but it's nothing to hurrah about either.

The UN has a bad habit of going to unruly corners of the globe to protect people. And they typically go there unarmed, or at least aren't allowed to use guns to protect themselves or the people they go there to protect. The UN soldier is apt to rape the women and girls in the countries they are sent to protect. The UN politician and bureaucrat wines and dines and spends money with impunity, while accomplishing nothing. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Its really difficult to call an organization bad or good. Its not the failure of united nation but the failure of the nations to promote unity. I can not blame UN, its the nations behind it that should be blamed for showing biasing and politicizing the legal and social even environmental issues.
