What can 11 year olds do to earn money?

i dont no if you heard of silly bands but you can buy them and you shopuld sell them at school for 25 cent each no lie i made 25 dolars in 3 days....or make bands thAT ARE COLORFUL IVE SEEN ALOT OF KIDS IN MY SCHOOL MAKE MONEY BUT OF COURSE IM NOT 11

Because the question is about 11-year-olds earning money, pretty much the list is what you have. There are child labour laws that do not permit companies to hire you. Since you listed all those things on the list, it almost seems that you are looking to NOT work. That said, all is not lost. Eleven is a little too young to babysit. Dogsitting is tough, especially if you are asked to sit an aggressive breed, or a cantankerous older dog. It would seem that you are looking to do something to earn money by yourself, as in alone. SO, perhaps collecting soda cans and beer cans from the side of the road, or the grocery store parking lot. Most recently, I understand, that they were paying 50 cents per pound for aluminum (US), aluminium (UK), at the recycling center in our town. I know that a 30 gallon trash bag full holds about 10# of cans. (I did this as a class project with my children when they were in elementary school, and they were able to make money for the class for special activities. Oh yes, my children are now in their mid-20s!) Your town recycling centers may also take newspaper for recycling. You could canvass your neighbourhood and collect newspapers that everyone is finished with. Start by checking the local phone book for the number listing for recycling centers in your town. Ask what they are currently paying for aluminum cans, newspapers, etc., and see if this is an option. You might check with the elderly in your neighbourhood and see if you might rake their yard for them. Raking is a bit much for older people, and some can barely move. It is not mowing, but you can rake and bag up the leaves for disposal. Perhaps they would like their carports swept off after the leaves and such have piled up throughout the fall and winter. Perhaps someone in your family, or in the neighbourhood is spring cleaning. Maybe they'd appreciate some help cleaning out a shed, garage, room. Perhaps they are painting a room, and would like assistance and would be willing to pay for the help. $200+ is a lot to come up with, by anyone's standards, and I wish you every success, but if you want to buy it soon, you might find you have to wash a car or two, or mow a lawn. Do not restrict yourself to one kind of job at this point; you are young but you are doing a good thing. Trying to earn funds to pay for something you want is very commendable. Good Luck.

how about if your musically talented why not give lessons or hire your self out for weddings if you have a great voice....learn some crafts and sell them at a local craft show perhaps...get some gal friends to gether and start a summer time business...go to a local library and get the book big bucks for kids has a lot of ideas.. i think it is by jan leasure... i just had it a few weeks ago,and read it..hope this helps..oh why not get some gals together and have yard or rummage sale to make some money...
