As the trees were there before you bought your tele, work around them, it isn't impossible to do that.

Trees are good. It is not a question of whose property are they in. Be responsible. I have cancelled my satellite in a similar case. Respect for environment is what you need.

you really need to tell us who the trees belong to. if they're in your garden why don't you fell them?

Sears and places like Home Depot sell these things called chain saws. They don't really cut chain, They are used to cut down trees that block satellite dish signals. I have not figure out why they are not called satellite dish blocking tree saws. There is a handle that is attached to a rope. You pull that to make the saw cut faster than if you didn't pull the handle attached to the rope. Most everything else should be obvious. Good luck.

If you're in the UK you have to have permission from your local council before getting them cut down. This is because, if they are cut down they're no longer soaking up water from the soil and this can lead to subsidence in properties/pavements/roads etc (or so I'm led to believe). However, as mentioned before, it would be better for the environment, local wildflie etc and (I'm sure most importantly for your pocket) if you simply used an extension kit so your dish is up at roof level. I had to do this and it cost me all of £20 - a LOT less money than having trees cut down and it saves giving everyone a view into your garden/house!

Pay to get them cut down or do it yourself.

Seems they're not covered by a Tree Preservation Order then? Are they outside your property? Are they on public land or private property? Maybe you'll just have to do it yourself (or get someone in to do it).
