  • Answer:

CD's can be recycled by using them as reflectors on our bycycles, or probably they can be sold. I am not sure what you can do to burned disks. The data can be deleted and reused. If you like craft you can use it in some of your artwork.

Firstly you made a big mistake, spending money for things you want but donte need. You must stop buying CDs and stop trying to get rid of them.I bought CDs 20 years ago and will never try to throw them out and I still have every CD I ever bought. You are a typical person of a throw away society.Just KEEP it and wait for a day when you might want them or need them .

if you cant find a store near you that buys and sells them try freecycle.com its a recycling website of sorts you post stuff and if someone else wants it they contact you and then they give your stuff a new life. the reason i suggest this for old cd's is because alot of ppl use them to make wind chime type things. good luck.

CDs are made of a plastic material and are therefor recycled in the same manor. There are a few organizations that specialize in reusing CDs but are few and far between. From what I've read it is likely that they will be increased in years to come but it also safe to recycle them with your normal plastics. I would suggest though, that you donate the ones in good condition to a local used record (now CD) shop. Just so that others can enjoy them as you have. Hope this helps! --Jesse

If you cannot find some place to recycle them you can simply pass them down and tell that person to pass them down when they are done that is a way to recycle .
