Plastic wrappers can be washed, but for what? to rewrap another popsicle? Better still, don't buy items that are individually wrapped - make your own. Popsicles are nothing more than frozen sugar water...freeze some yourself and eliminate the wrapper altogether.

I cut out some bone-shapes from a sherpa-type material to sew together to make a dog toy and used some wrappers from hard candy to stuff it with. The dogs like the crackly noise their new toy makes and they love playing with it.
