What items can be recycled? Can you make a business out of recycling?

You can make a business out of recycling but its hard, you need existing infrastructure to break down or melt down whatever is being recycled. If you do not have that existing infrastructure you will have to build it and that can cost a lot of money. Almost anything can be recycled. Matter of fact, I cannot think of anything that can't be recycled in some form or another. A lot of recycling places now a days are specialized, they deal specifically with metals, computers, yard waste, whatever.

Absolutely! Pretty much anything can be recycled. I do this for a living and belive me or not. My spouse and I make a good living. besides the cans and plastics. there is metal aluminum, brass, copper, iron, . these can be found in your household or around your yard.

Read the packaging of products you use -those that have a reuse already will tell you they are reusable or recyclable. Where is the new challenge? In products that can be reused, but currently has no, or too few, reuses at the moment. Examine products for how you could reuse them.
