  This is a hard question to answer. "Associate's in Applied Science" is a two-year degree from a community college, and it can be in a lot of things. If you have an AAS in Early Childhood Development you can work in a daycare center. Eastern Oklahoma State College offers the AAS in Meat Processing and Food Safety, a degree that would get you a job in a butcher shop or a meat processing plant. Fayetteville Technical Community College's AAS in Funeral Service Education will get you a job as a funeral director. If you go to paramedic school, and then get your associates degree in applied science, you are able to bo do the 9-10 month paramedic to RN bridge course. There will be a little bit more than just 10 months. But it will clip you out of a lot of school since paramedics can do so much more than RN,s. Just having the degree in itself will help you get an entry level position.
