    Unfortunately, there's lots of places that don't pick up glass because they feel that the cost of picking up is not profitable. What you can do is 1) bring the glass with you when visiting a community with a recycling center 2) or, crush the glass into powder and use it on pathways 3) or, use it to make art projects such as mosaic tabletops or paving stones 4) or avoid buying things in glass as much as possible.
