What are some common household products that are tested on animals?

GREAT question! Check your shower items (shampoos, conditioners, body soaps...) for some sort of label that says NO-ANIMAL TESTING. Also, check your lotions, perfumes, nail polishes, facial scrubs, acne creams, medicines, cleaning products, hair products, tampon brands!! etc. Some of my favorite animal-free brands are Burts Bees (shampoos, conditioners, lotions, lip glosses, soaps...) and VO5 for hair products. http://pw1.netcom.com/~axleplus/stuff/hotstuff/company.html Check this out for products tested on animals. I thought PETA would have the most extensive list of who does and who does not test on animals. Even if it says not tested on animals, it usually was. They just test components of the product, the final product is not tested on animals.
