I'm wondering if anyone knows ,how can i recycle my magazines and make money out of it ,eventhough few dollars

I've never been paid cash for mine, but I figure I'm getting good karma for donating them. I leave them at the local retirement community and in the surgery waiting rooms at the hospital.

If you have a "Half-Price Books " store in your area, you can take them there. They prefer current issues. I think they pay about a 1/3 to 1/4 of the original price. I have sold craft and painting/art mags and books to them. Also 33 1/3rd record albums, but you don't get much for those. If you'd rather, donate them to a public library for their annual sale, or low-price book resale shop. Dr.s, dental, office waiting rooms, or public schools are another option. oOf course you won't make any money, but it's a way to recycle them.

Do you have your own business? Donate them to dr offices and dentist offices and place a few flyers in each one. put a label on them with your business info and donated by: your info. Free advertising has much potential to make you money. If you dont have a biz yet, start one!

There are plenty of recycling centers that you could try. Go on to mapquest and try searching for some or check your phonebook. They'll be glad to take it off your hands. ^_^

newspaper and magazines make excellent mulch, you can use a method which is sometimes called ,"Lasagna". A process of layering the paper product with soil,wet garbage such as old veggies from your fridge. It will break down enough to plant herbs,flowers other veggies which you can then take to farmers market therefore,,make money with your old newspapers and magazines. It takes a little time but in the end you will be recycling those magazines and papers and probably be on here to ask others how to obtain theirs. Happy gardening and good luck. It does work and being in Southern Cali. gives you an advantage with the extended growing season. You can go to your local library and gain information on getting a greener thumb if that is an issue. Don't give up and maybe you'll be on your way for all of us to see you someday as part of the Fortune 500! Papers are only one part of the layering but, if I were to tell you everything about how to layer,by not telling you all, you will hopefully you will feel better about what you are doing and plus depending on what you grow will depend on the ingredients.
