How can small manufacturing companies reduce their carbon footprint?

What do you do to reduce your carbon footprint?

  • i'm doing a project on what people do to reduce your carbon footprint, what do you guys do?

  • Answer:

I leave the lights on and drive a 1988 bronco that gets about 11mpg. because even if i did not, the planet would continue to warm, what i drive and how i throw away trash has no effect on solar radiation, or the increased heat evaporating water faster. (ocean=largest store of Co2 on planet: evaporation=water "floating" up into the sky, hydrogen molecules carry molecules of carbon.) heat=carbon increase, not the other way around.

I don't consciously worry about reducing carbon footprints or being super-green, but it's stupid to fill up landfills with plastics, aluminum, glass & other recyclable trash. So I recycle. It's foolish to pollute the air. I can hardly breathe on hot days in large cities, so I use solar energy and electric trains and cars when possible. Recycled anything is as good as non-recycled, except for recycled urine. Yes, they're working on it.

I try to buy British. I never throw food away, unless it's a mouldy cucumber. I grow a bit of fruit & veg. I compost all my organic waste. I minimise my central heating. I use my own bags at the supermarket. I walk to work. Yes, I am green green green!

Turn off the water while I brush my teeth. Participate in Earth Hour. Shower in as little time as possible. Don't leave electronics on stand by.

Absolutely nothing, because I don't believe things that the media and government bottle feed people.
