Which is the most important science: Chemistry, Physics, or Biology?
-
This question has definitely been asked. I'm an engineer. I sat down for dinner with a chemistry major, a biology major, and an electrical engineer who proudly defended physics. We argued which is most important. I think it's a tie between physics and chemistry which resulted in the Big Bang. Philosophically, none of it would matter if it wasn't for biology, which obviously led to us... but, hey, even then it can be a debate in favor of chemistry. If you believe its not one of the aforementioned three, which science or area of knowledge do you think it is?

Answer:
This should do it. Forgive my humor (apparently your answer gets flagged if it's not serious), but the point is that all choices are wrong. Frankly the question is a bit misguided. It's like asking what kind of doctor is more important: they all are, they just tackle the same problem (the nature of universe, in the case of science) from a different angle. Despite some science being able to be described as an applied version of another, it in no way means one is better. If I you had a toolbox where you could only pick a wrench, a hammer, or a screwdriver...anything you'd build would be pretty crappy. Unless it's from IKEA, then you only need a Allen Wrench.

Obviously you can't really debate which science is 'better' or 'more important', but I do think biology has a huge potential in the (near) future. At the moment, scientists are experimenting with 'training' microbes, using a worked out artificial selection program (let them evolve good traits). Trained microbes could destroy or out-compete micro-organisms that endanger crops, farm animals or humans. They could also be used in the industry, in fact, some research suggests that in the future, microbes could replace the entire chemical industry! And there are more interesting current developments in biology, like the human genome project, the human brain project, stem cell research, natural occuring bio-material, DNA-computing, biology based algorithms (like genetic algorithms) etc.

Physics I guess. I think the tree might be like - Physics - Chemistry - Biology

Physics. This is because it deals with the stuff which forms the very basis of the entire creation.

Physics is basic Chemistry is complicated physics (it solves what physics directly cannot) Biology is complicated Physics and Chemistry (it solves what both of above individually cannot) PS. Here directly means without any adhoc assumptions!!! You decide the importance yourself!!!

According to me Physics is most important because as Niels Bohr said-"It is wrong to think that the task of physics is to find out how nature is. Physics concerns with what we say about nature."

Mathematics of any variety whether it be geometry or algebra. Clearly people have been lead by shapes and patterns reality in truth is impression. Even thought is a simple system of rationality known as logic or deciding actions from possible alternatives.

"Importance" depends on the ultimate goal. To tell the truth, without the ability to communicate (language) and feed ourselves (hunting and farming) none of them are very important. Our ancestors did just fine (up to !500 AD) with very little formal understanding of any of these fields. If I had to pick, I would pick math and physics, since empirically they helped us build better tools for farming, hunting, and shelter.

All these science come from each other. you can see Chemistry born when Physics work . Biology born becuase of Chemistry. But Physics born when Maths works all are linked each other so the most important science in "Chemistry ,Physics, Biology" the Physics is most important science.other than this maths is most important science in universe

With experience you will realize that every science is an attempt to describe the creation of mother nature and when the scientists are unable to describe it, they put that fact into exception. coming to your question : you can't nullify other subject importance or contribution ,all three are interdependent. There is no definite answer for this. The choice depends upon the perception of the chooser
