What's it like to be a wildlife tech?

Whats the difference between ecology and wildlife conservation?

  • Whats the difference between ecology and wildlife conservation? What jobs are associated with each? Is there are job where you can: learn all about animals (in my region, Canada) ...show more

  • Answer:

You would need to get a degree to learn these things to get a job....it would not be the other way around..no one is going to hire you with no degree and no experience and teach YOU. Sure, you will also learn while on the job..but you must have a degree and an education in this field first. You might look for work as a wildlife or field biologist, game warden, park ranger, ecologist, environmental specialist etc. You would need a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree plus lots of hands on experience that you can obtain through volunteer work, internships, and seasonal positions.
