How can common man take part in nature conservation.?

There is no distinction between any individual as far as conservation is considered. Every action by an individual has something to do with nature, starting from the use of water. Never waste water. Protect trees and forests. Reduce the consumption of oil and power. Don't throw away waste as you please. Always see whether you can recycle the waste, so that it has some use. Biodegradable waste can always be converted into good manure, or bio gas can be produced from it. Bio gas can be used for cooking as well for electrification. Non- biodegradable wastes such as plastic, glasses, etc., if possible may be recycled, if not possible, try to minimize the use. Try to preserve the water resources, prevent polluting them.Minimize power consumption. Go for CFL bulbs as far as possible. In short minimum destruction of the nature is expected.

There are many ways. For starters turn off the lights when you leave a room. RECYCLE!!!! recycling one can can power your TV for 2 hours!!!!!!! There are also light bulbs you can get at like home depot that are all twisty and are good for the environment. Also (this is just biased) 60% of carbon emissions are from the possessing of meat. That other person was right bring cloth bags with you to the store. Some stores even give discounts if you bring your own bags. You can get them anywhere cheep. Even Target. You can put special shower heads in your showers to conserve water as well you can get those at home depot i think. You can get recycled carpet... and recycled wood even for the back deck. it is really plastic and is cheaper, environmentally friendly and you don't have to stain it. Conserve electricity, do not throw garbage everywhere and minimize the use of plastic bags. Bring your own bag when shopping or buying something...=)
