I unfortunately (bad news for the animals) have to agree with some of the others - it's too long a list. You might want to try the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) http://www.worldwildlife.org/species/index.html - you can look up the species by where you live, which might be more manageable than the whole planet. The Audubon Society has a listing on their website, as well as the Wildlife Federation. I am sure there are others. Perhaps you will learn more if you take the sources given and do your own research. We lost at least one species last week.

If only people would get it into their heads that all Animals have more right to this Planet than the Human race, as they were here first.But Humans come along and decide to kill everything in sight, including their selves. There should be stricter laws about killing any animal, and if the rules are broken humans should be punished severely. In time future generations will only be able to read about them as there will be none left. This Planet is being overloaded with the Human race, and each Country should be penalised for the amount of humans they are breeding.I think China has the right idea, because if the breeding is allowed to continue there will not be enough food to feed them all. Perhaps then the people might learn some sense. This is not any Animals fault , but a human one.
