How can I get better at singing without voice lessons?

Is there a way to get a better singing voice without paying for lessons?

    Okay, this works really well. (especially if you want a larger singing range) What you do is sing the highest note in your range for a long as possible without stopping. (Try 15 seconds at first and sing really loud) Make sure that you're in control of your voice and not just singing any random high note. When you get better, try singing for longer periods of time or even higher notes! Trust me, you will get really good, really fast! For Guys, just sing low instead of high. This exercise helps your lungs develop so you can hold those really long and/or high notes. I hope I helped. Good Luck!

Join the vocal music program at your school. The teacher will usually be one of the best people to help you improve your singing voice. And, he/she is already paid to teach you all you have to do is sign-up and go to class.

No, singing games on your ps2 and wii will not help your singing voice unless they includes singing lessons/tutorials. Youtube does offer several good tutorial videos....like EricArceneaux(spelling)...but it's quite tiring to view every single video... A better way to sing better (pardon the repeat) would be to seek help from singers, tutorial books and sing the 'right' way.
