Who is the highest male singer (without using falsetto)?

Mika or Freddie Mercury Listen to Freddie singing "Exercises in Free Love" on his Mr. Bad Guy Cd. He wrote it for Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballe'. (A soprano.) Her version is entitled Ensueno on the Barcelona cd. The resemblance is uncanny.

Definitely don't base want you find on any pop singers. They all use falsetto once in a while. What sets them apart from the rest of us is their excellent ability to mask their use of it.

The highest male voices were Castrato but there are not any left now as it is an illegal thing to do (castration) however there is an American, Nicholas Clapton, who's voice never broke at puberty so is voice is still high enough to sing the songs written for Castrato. I have added a link to a site where you can hear his voice. It is about half way down the page under Audio Samples. I have however seen a clip of the last Castrato singing. If you search Google you may find it. His name was Alessandro Moreschi.
