Make sure that you're standing properly. Learn to open your mouth, and support using your diaphragm... When you flex your stomach, harden it, you are actually using your diaphragm to push your muscles. So what you have to learn to do is to take in air, and use the most of it by controlling it with your diaphragm. One way to make it nice and strong is to hold notes longer and longer at a medium pitch (like A, or G, near the middle C) without dying out, or trying to push and grow louder. A lot of this is going to be in your confidence. Go into an echoey room (bathroom is private and loud)... Learn to push the sound out, to try and get the volume in the bathroom as loud as you can without feeling like you're tearing your throat out.

try breathing with the big D!!!! the DIAPHRAGM BABY

Exercise breathing from your diaphragm. Aim to fill your air chamber beginning with the diaphragm all the way into your lungs. - This will help you to better focus your vocal box to creating clearer sounds.

There is one breathing exercise that you could use. One problem could be that you are running out of breath. This must be used daily to have a large impact on your singing voice. Btw, it may sound a little weird, but it DOES strengthen your diaphragm! 1. Lie down on the floor with your stomach up 2. Place a relatively large book on your stomach 3. Inhale for 6 seconds; focus on making your diaphragm blow up like a balloon (don't use your chest, just your stomach) 4. Hold for 6 seconds 5. Breathe out slowly for 12 seconds *As you feel you are getting better, increase the duration of time you inhale and hold and double for the exhale. HOPE THIS HELPS xoxo

Get low down into the throat. Remember though, that softness with sexiness can be wonderful.

You could take special lessons to help build up your voice. Or, you could just practice and never give up. The best way is to just practice and believe in yourself. Go on! Do it!

Practice, practice, practice. You'll only get better the more you work on it. Voice lessons might help to so you can get advice and tips from a professional and you will be able to move along a lot faster. Good Luck.
