Why do most hotel don't have a 24-hour checkin/checkout policy?
-
I only saw one hotel that let's you checkin anytime you like then checkout 24-hours after (e.g., checkin 8AM today checkout 8AM tomorrow). Isn't it common that guests arrive at random times and the common hotel policy of 2PM checkin 12PM checkout is quite an annoyance and totally not convenient. For example, you need to checkout by 12PM but your flight is at 6PM. You're gonna have to find a way to keep yourself comfortable outside while waiting for your flight. Or you arrive early, you can't checkin until 2PM.

Answer:
The hotel has limits to keep their cleaning staff on a reasonable schedule. And you can always ask about late check -out. Contact the front desk, and they will tell you their policy.
