How can I improve my singing voice?

    rate 4 if can sing but you have a deep voice. can improve by trying to sing at a higher pitch "The key to being a good singer is to have a good balance of sound. You need a mixture of dark and light sounds - loud and soft - rich and airy, etc. The main way I know to do this is to learn which parts of your body need to be working and which need to be totally relaxed. Singing is actually quite a physical action and requires a lot of work from your main torso. A height in your cheeks and palette needs to be contrasted with a relaxation of your lips, tongue and jaw. Similarly, a relaxation of your shoulders, stomache and diaphragm need to be contrasted with a hight in your chest to allow for easy, full breathing. Everything I know about singing has to do with a contrast of ideas and a good medium between them all. Hope this helps!"

I'm sorry but anyone who gave you a 5 is either sucking up for the 10pts or is tone deaf. You sing flat, and very nasal. You need to work on your breathing, you need to practice with live musicians if you can, or accompany yourself if you can play guitar. You should stand up while singing to open up your diaphragm. Initially try singing older songs. If you practice modern pop/rock you will just imitate the original singer and learn nothing. Find some classical music and learn to enunciate. You need to practice sounding all the consonants. You need to find your own voice - not mimic. Then when you are good you can apply what you have learned to the genre of your choice. I'm sorry if that sounded harsh, but I'm not going to tell you you are great just to get points.

YOUR SENSATIONAL! I'm giving you a 5! If you want to improve your singing you could invest in some singing lessons or take some online lessons. Branch out into other types of music and do warm-ups etc... Oh and remember the scale! You have to make all of the songs you sing your own, so don't mimic how others sing, you have a sensational voice and you should show it off!

id give you a 2 you need to open your throat and sing from your diaphragm to tense but you can do it practice every day i have to practice everyday for an hour to 30 minuets

since your an ameteur you did pretty goo so ill give you a 5 because you can sing but you need to strenghten your voice a little bit more

Your voice sounds like hillary duff, when she tries to sing. I would give it a 2, and that's being nice. Your voice is nice but it doesn't seem to me that you have the vocals, I noticed that lack of range because it seemed monotone the whole time. Taking voice lessons would probably help you out...it wouldn't help your voice but it would help you USE your voice, if you know what i mean.
