If they don't like your cooking, then buy something at a local supermarket. You should tell them that thanksgiving is also about giving thanks to people who care enough to make a dish to bring along. It's what I would do if I were you because if they are criticizing you for being thoughtful, then it's not okay. Criticizing people's dishes is not what thanksgiving is about.
