    If they do mention another state, I might actually buy the album that the song is released on. *Which means a lot because I haven't purchased a RHCP album since "One Hot Minute". I want to hear something about my state, Maryland. No one ever mentions it in their songs. The only reference that's coming to mind right now is that song from the 90's "Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in My Hand" by the Primitive Radio Gods. "A plane takes of from Baltimore..." But even if Maryland isn't an option, ANY state besides CA would be fine by me.

Haha, right on! I thought I was the only one who thought the Chili Peppers only sang about California. They should start singing about Texas cause everything is bigger and better here.

So I'm biased because I'm from here, but I would like to hear a song about New York. And not NYC since they get all the attention...a song about Upstate New York. Who wouldn't love to hear a song about Buffalo? Or Utica? Edit: LOL - Schenectady would rock! And if they did any songs about the 1,000 Islands or Rochester I would be a life-long fan...
