Ask your husband who makes the best dressing in the family, and then call them for the recipe. I use my Mother in Laws recipe, and its a great way to tie all our families together and keep a tradition.

Good ole' cornbread dressing is the best! Here is how I do mine: I make 2 big pans of buttermilk cornbread in my iron skillet until golden brown - while that is cooking I saute chopped onions in butter - once cornbread is done I add the following: crumble up the corn bread and add, salt & pepper, sage, cream of celery, 2 cans of cream of chicken, 3 cans of chicken broth, 8 eggs (raw) and add enough water until it is like soup going in the oven bake at 375 for about an hour and a half or so until it gets done to your liking,,, yumm!

Here is how I make my cornbread dressing 1 big pan of cornbread 5 boiled eggs 2 stalks of celery 2 whole onions 4-5 cans chicken broth 1 container sage OK crumble up your cornbread, chop up your eggs, celery & onion and mix it all up---put about half the bottle of sage (its not a lot trust me). Then pour in your cans of chicken broth one by one. Once it is a nice smooth consistency (like cornbread is b4 you bake it) taste it, if it needs more sage, add it, it is really all up to your taste, there is no wrong amount! Put it in a baking pan and bake on 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. ITS DELICIOUS! feel free to add or take away any ingredients!
