Why do we eat turkey on thanksgiving?

  • why is turkey the 'tradtional' thanksgiving meal? i know the pilgrims ate it and everything, but they also ate seafood and deer, so i don't see why we don't eat that. any ideas?

i don't think many people would like deer... i guess because turkey was easier to catch and it's delicious!

we eat it because it is a tradiotion to EVERYONE!

I think part of it was that when they sold it they were very cheap compare to chicken or duck back in the day.
