Answer:
You can do a mini T-day dinner pretty easily. Mash up a few potatoes, buy a small jar of premade turkey gravy, buy a box of stuffing that you just add butter and stock to, and either buy just a turkey breast (since a turkey will be too big) or get a couple of little cornish game hens and bake them. You can make a quick and easy apple crumble by steaming four apples in a microwave with some cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle with graham crackers and top with ice cream. Even if you have a little for leftovers the next day, you can do the typical thing and make sandwiches.

get a tofurky and some mashed potatoes and a squash and some cranberry gell and some stuffing. or u can get an entire feast all in 1 box http://www.foodservicedirect.com/product.cfm/p/173658/Tofurky-Vegetarian-Feast-3.5-Pound.htm if you're not a vegetarian you should try it. instead of thanksgiving you can have a thangsLIVING and spare a turkey its life. ok so u or ur bf arnt going to go for that.. ? ok. Then if you want real turkey get one of those giant turkey BREASTS. its just the breast not the whole bird. its manageable for 2 people. get some instant dressing and some mashed potatoes and some frozen squash and its ez and tastes great. ill post of link of what just a cooked turkey breast looks like. a whole bird is too much work for 2 people.

I live alone and so this is a good question. I cant see myself going all out and making tons of sides and desserts when all I want to do is relax!!! I keep it simple. I was planning on the turkey breast but noticed that buying a whole turkey is alot cheaper than just the breast. I got myself a small young turkey less than 20 pounds. Usually they are on sale before thanksgiving so the one I got was on sale for only 49 cents a pound. After dinner I cut all the meat off the bones and have sandwiches durring the week, turkey casseroles, turkey tacos, etc. Or you can put some in freezer bags and freeze it. I dont care much for sweet potatoes or yams so I make mashed potatoes. I use the dripping from the turkey to make a fantastic gravy. I will have some corn with this, cranberry sauce which I like the kind in the can better than the homemade kind LOL. I get the pumpkin pie in the frozen department of the store that you just put in the oven for half an hour and viola its done!!! Than maybe some sparkling wine or just coffee and there you go. For a snack I will make a big bowl of popcorn and watch movies on television. Yes, I dont know about all the grocery stores but Kroger will give you a whole thanksgiving feast cooked for about 50 bucks. Or if you dont feel like cooking at all how about going to a restaurant?

A nice turkey breast (you can get them seasoned and pre-cooked, just heat). Or, get small poultry like a couple of cornish game hens; they bake easily. Make some mashed potatoes, get some cranberry sauce, and get a vegetable or salad. Buy a pie and some ice cream for dessert. Make a nice platter of some cheese and crackers for appetizer. Keep it simple and you'll both enjoy it.

My husband and I do not care for the taste of turkey so we have chicken, but if you want turkey check with your grocery stores deli department and see if they are going to have cooked turkey or turkey breast. In fact most will have the whole meal, all you do is pick it up. Be sure to ask if you need to pre order and when to pick it up. But if you want to do it yourself, here is what my husband and I do: Roasted chicken, Boxed chicken stuffing found on the shelf, just add water and butter, Gravy in a jar at the store, Canned sweet potatoes...mash them, One green vegetable, Stuffed eggs - be sure to boil the day before so they will be cold, Black olives, and the green ones too if you like them, Canned cranberry sauce, Pick up a package of rolls in the bread department. In the freezer department buy the type of pie you two like such as pumpkin, apple, pecan. Read the direction on the box. I usually bake the day before if it calls for baking. Iced tea. Coffee later on. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
